Finke 2026

In June this year I will be competing in the Finke Desert Race along with selected enduro events this season. In a change from previous years where we have had local businesses jump on board with a financial sponsorship, this year we are doing something different by partnering with The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to raise funds, with 100% of contributions going directly to the cause. Local businesses are invited to support this initiative through donations, with recognition provided via logo placement on my race bikes.
About the event
2026 Finke desert Race
The Finke Desert Race is an off-road, multi terrain two day race through desert country from Alice Springs to the small Aputula (Finke) Community. The race crosses the Finke River, believed to be the oldest river in the world. “Finke” as it is known, is one of the biggest annual sporting events in the Northern Territory. It is recognised as the richest Off-Road Race in Australia with the added reputation of being one of the most difficult courses in one of the most remote places in the world.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026, the race attracts over 600 competitors and thousands of spectators each year.
The same livery will also be put on a second race bike which will compete in more local Enduro events such as the Australian Hard Enduro Series.
