Celebrate a special occasion

Use your special day as a way to support people impacted by brain cancer.

There are many ways you can get involved, including asking for donations in lieu of gifts or donating on behalf of guests in place of party favours.

Get inspired

There are many ways you can choose to fundraise through your birthday or other special occasion. However you choose to get involved, we are so grateful for your support.

In lieu of
birthday gifts

Ask your friends and family to donate to your page instead of buying you birthday gifts.

Party with purpose

Planning a party? Ask guests to donate to your page in place of an entry fee to your event.

Wedding party favours

Planning a wedding? You can donate on behalf of your guests in place of providing wedding favours.

Other special occasions

You can also ask for donations in lieu of gifts on other special occasions like Christmas or Easter.

This is the challenge we face

In Australia, brain cancer kills more people under 40 than any other cancer and more children than any other disease.
5 people are diagnosed with brain cancer every day in Australia.

Only 22% of people diagnosed with brain cancer will survive five years post-diagnosis.

Brain cancer survival rates have have only increased by 2% in the last decade.

A cure will only be made possible by investing in novel, impactful research.

Your fundraising will help researchers to learn more about brain tumours and turn pre-clinical ideas into powerful therapies ready for clinical trials.

Brooke's birthday wish

“As my 40th birthday drew closer, I could only think of one birthday present that I truly wished for…If I cannot celebrate any more birthdays with my sister, I wish for a cure to brain cancer so brain cancer survivors can celebrate more birthdays with their loved ones.

In lieu of presents, I asked for donations so further research can be done to find a cure.”
