I've created this page because I want to make a difference.
This year my sister and I are running in the Perth Running Festival half Marathon and full marathon to fundraise for our cousin and best friend Lucy Thomson.
Lucy passed away in late 2013 after she was diagnosed with a brain/spinal tumour, with complications from her biopsy leaving her a quadriplegic. She touched so many lives, donating all of the balloons she received for her birthday in Hospital to other ICU patients and her soft toys to a children's refuge. Lucy’s courage, selflessness and sense of humour continues to inspire us everyday.
We hope to contribute what we can to the $76,000+ raised by our family and cousins since 2013 to aid cancer research. Any donations are greatly appreciated 🧡
