I've created this page because I want to make a difference.
In June 2025, my best mate and brother succumbed to glioblastoma.
On October 18, 2026 I'm going to attempt to finish Ironman Australia at Port Macquarie and use the journey to raise awareness for brain cancer - raising money along the way.
It's a simple equation - One year. One Ironman. One cause: Brain Cancer Research.
My brother from another mother - Grant Leslie (aka Ali G) had Stage 4 glioblastoma and I am taking on this journey to honour him and his struggles with this disease.
This is not my first Ironman, but my last was way back in 2012 in Port Macquarie where I struggled home in 16 hours and 51 minutes.
So - I'm 55, fat and unfit but this is a journey I can't wait to get started on.
