I've created this page because I want to make a difference.
Why I’m Running
My dad died from brain cancer at just 46.
I watched one of the strongest people I knew slowly have pieces of his life taken away by a disease that still has far too few effective treatment options.
On race day, I’ll choose to keep putting one foot in front of the other for as long as I can, aiming for 200+ km. I can choose to stop when it hurts. Families facing brain cancer don’t get that choice.
Every lap is for my dad, for every family living this reality, and for the researchers working towards a future where fewer people have to hear the words, “It’s brain cancer.”
