Pete Hudson chose to be a remarkable husband, father and poppa. After battling prostate cancer for over four years, he was diagnosed with brain cancer (glioblastoma). It was devastating. Within two months this beautiful, kind and loving man was gone.
A diagnosis of glioblastoma is a death sentence. More research needs to be done to find out why brain cancers occur, the best treatments and ultimately a cure. Every year in August we will be ‘Walking for Pete’ from Kirra (Roughton Park opposite the ICONIC building) to the Rainbow Bay surf club to raise much needed funds for brain cancer.
Registration will be at 10.30am with the walk commencing at 11am. If you cannot join us for the walk, please donate funds so that a cure can be found. All donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible.
