I've created this page because I want to make a difference.

THE BEARD IS COMING OFF… FOR A VERY SPECIAL REASON  

Every year, Cure Brain Cancer is a cause incredibly close to our hearts.

In 2016, my beautiful Mum was diagnosed with a glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. In January 2018, we lost her.

Normally, we honour Mum by taking part in the Cure Brain Cancer walk and raising funds for research.

But this year, we're doing something a little different.

Dave has volunteered to SHAVE OFF HIS BELOVED BEARD to raise money for Cure Brain Cancer.

Now, I need you to understand just how significant this is…

I HAVE NEVER SEEN DAVE WITHOUT HIS BEARD!  

Not once.

I genuinely don't know what is under there, so this is going to be an experience for both of us.  

Mum never had the chance to meet Dave but I know she would have absolutely adored him and his Irish charm. 

So while there will definitely be plenty of laughs when those clippers come out, the reason we're doing this couldn't be more serious.

Did you know brain cancer kills more people under 40 than any other cancer and more children than any other disease?

Those are statistics we desperately want to help change.

Cure Brain Cancer's mission is clear: to unite the community to increase brain cancer survival and quality of life.

Research gives families hope. It gives us the possibility of better treatments, better outcomes and, ultimately, a cure.
