I've created this page because I want to make a difference.
I’ve been growing my hair for the past two years, and now it’s time to put it to good use! On the 17th of August, my 31st birthday, I’ll be cutting off my hair and donating to Variety – Hair with Heart, who create wigs for kids who have lost their hair due to medical conditions such as alopecia, trichotillomania, and other rare disorders. At the same time, I’m shaving my head to raise funds for brain cancer research — a disease with a survival rate of only 20%, a figure that hasn’t improved in over 30 years. Brain cancer tragically kills more young people than any other cancer, and urgent action is needed. I’ve decided to participate and raise funds in loving memory of my cousin Lauren who we lost 2 years ago to brain cancer. I’d like to do my part to help all people and families also affected and would appreciate anyone’s support! Any dollar will help fight this awful disease.
