100km in May Challenge
This May, during Brain Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in the 100km in May Challenge for brain cancer research.In Australia, 1,639 people die from brain cancer every year. And the statistics that we relied on so heavily on when Ivan was still with us, have barely improved since.
I am doing this in Ivan's memory to raise funds for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to support life-saving research to increase brain cancer survival rates and improve the quality of life for those impacted by this disease.

Friday 17th AprThis is the first time I've done a 100km challenge in 10 years!!! The last time I did was with Ivan. At the time his brain cancer was still Stage 2, he'd had surgery and radiation and re-learned to walk and talk, and was having seizures multiple times a week.
He passed away in 2019 aged 38 from GBM after a 6.5 year fight.
I'm definitely not as fit as I was back the, but so happy to raise much needed funds and awareness again xx
